1. Ask About Special Rates or Other Discounts
Some hotels give discounts to guests for corporate, military, AAA and AARP.

Many hotels have internet only discount rates, that must be reserved on-line.

3. Call Hotel Directly
It is always better to deal with a person. The nicer you are the more they will try to full fill your special requests!

4. Ask About Complimentary Amenities
A slightly higher rate at one hotel may be worth the extra free amenities – if you will use them.

5. Visit During the Off Season
Depending on if the area is more for vacation or business you can score a huge discount! A vacation area is better during the week and for business areas weekends are best.

6. Ask for a Discount if You Need A Lot of Rooms
If you are booking rooms for a family gathering or group function this will help you get this discount if enough rooms are booked.
